The deadline to comply with the New York State Retirement Mandate varies based on your number of employees.

Number of Employees	Deadline
30 or more	March 18th, 2026
15-29	May 15th, 2026
10-14	July 15th, 2026

Failure for noncompliance with mandate will result in $250 fine for each employee for a first offense, with future offenses eventually exceeding $1,000 per employee.
