AMHERST, NY – Amherst Chamber of Commerce President & CEO, A.J. Baynes, will welcome a record-setting turnout when the Chamber honors five businesses, and one woman of
distinction at the Chamber’s marquee event, THE EVENT 2022, Monday, October 24 at
Salvatore’s 6461 Transit Road, Depew NY 14043

“Tonight’s recipients set a gold standard of how businesses should operate in our community,” said A.J. Baynes “the regional diversity of our honorees is representative of the over 70 unique zip codes our Chamber membership is comprised of.”
The evening will begin at 5:30, with the program slated to start with a welcome message from Mayor Byron Brown and Mark Gaulin, Chair of the Amherst Chamber of Commerce, at 6:15pm.

A chamber record of 500 people will be in attendance, including New York State Senators Timothy Kennedy and Edward Rath, New York State Assemblywoman Karen McMahon, Erie County Sheriff John Garcia, Erie County District Attorney John Flynn, Amherst Town Supervisor Brian Kulpa, and Amherst Town Justice Kara Buscaglia, among other notable elected officials.
